The instructions are good but it's that simple that you don't really need them. You may find it a bit fiddly to get the tubes to locate inside each other but if you locate one side first, then use a lolly stick or screwdriver to guide the other side in, then it's easy!Once it's together and you have filled the tank with the 2-stroke petrol mix and primed it by pressing the priming bubble 6 times until it is full with fuel, starting is easy and only took a couple of pulls on the cord. Don't forget to turn the master power switch on in addition to setting the choke lever to the right setting; if the weather is very warm, you will only need it on the middle setting. What a machine!! It had its 1st outing clearing up after clipping back a mixed conifer and shrub hedge at the bottom of my garden. The clippings had fallen mainly onto soil so I used it without the wheeled attachment and it cleared it up in no time at all. It is... Bearing this in mind, I was extremely careful with this, but on the first use of the vacuum, this clip unfortunately snapped.The actual blower/vacuum seems very effective and does the job very well so it astounds me to think how poor this clip is as though it was just an afterthought. It really should be a metal snap on clip, but instead it is the flimbsiest piece of plastic possible. I would have given the item 5 stars if it wasn't for this. Lets hope Amazon realise this is a product defect and not a human mistake. PS : I have today contacted Amazon regarding a replacement. The wheeled front end is a joke dont bother putting it on as it really diminishes this machines abilities it also knocks it out of balance for use. However with the wheels off the bag does tend to drag a bit low so if your short then your probablly going to be stuck using the wheels in which case I really wouldnt bother buying this.
